Recording "Blessings"
Back in March my sweet neighbor, BJ Powers asked me if I wanted to use his recording studio to record a song for Brady, to play at our wedding. Of course, I immediately said "YES!" because I have always thought creating a recording would be really fun. BJ was so kind to take a day with me to help me create something special. It was incredible to see how the entire process works within a studio...it was certainly nothing I had ever seen before.
BJ then proceeded to copy the song onto CDs so that I could hand them out after the ceremony as wedding favors (so kind and thoughtful). Thank you BJ for that VERY special gift. I think it was my favorite wedding present!!!
(In response to several questions, I went ahead and moved the song posting from the previous wedding post to this one)

Your song was absolutely beautiful. What an amazing gift.
ReplyDeleteJenny,
ReplyDeleteI do not know you or Brady personally. My mother and I both started following Brady's blog when Sara was sick with cancer. We prayed so much for sweet Chloe, Brady and Sara. Following his blog after Sara went to be with the Lord was so heart wrenching and we prayed so much for Brady's strength to raise Chloe. When he wrote about you, my heart lit up! Your stories are truly a testimony of how God brings life back to you after death and loss. You both have such testimonies to share God's faithfulness. I am honored to follow your blog. I pray for your family still. I pray you two find all the happiness in the world together and that your children get to experience love from two parents that are crazy about them. I LOVE your recording, what a neat wedding gift.
would love to hear the song... I am so happy for your friend and love your new blog...
ReplyDeleteCamille,
Deletethe song is in the post prior...it is a picture of just Brady and I. You push the play button and that is it.

Hi Jenny! I love your new blog. We are good friends of the Sullivan's (my mom actually taught Brady in Elementary School!) I have been keeping up with your blog and so glad to see you blogging again. My mom told me about Brady's deployment and I just wanted you to know we are thinking and praying for you these next few months!
ReplyDeleteSo, so, glad that you are blogging again!! Like many, I found Bradly's blog when someone asked for prayer for him and Sara. After Sara passed I often prayed for God to bring someone special into his life for him and for Chloe. I felt so heartbroken for them both. So naturally when he shared "you" and your family with all of the blog world I was so very thrilled. I stayed up all night long and read all the way through your blog. It's so awesome that God brought you to and your children together!! It's such a testament to His faithfulness!! I may be bold here and and ask this...I'd really like to hear more about the transition. How has this new union been for the children. I saw where you referred to Bradley as "Daddy". Do your children also refer to him that way. How have yours and Bradley's former in-laws adjusted. I hope it is not entirely out of line that I'm asking. Please feel free to ignore my comment if you do feel like it is inappropriate. Blessings to you!! Jen
