A Sweet New Friend

Another gift that God has given me in our new life in San Antonio is a wonderful new friendship with this sweet lady.

Rhonda & I met at La Cantera back in June right after Brady & I had been married. She spotted me shopping and recognized me from our blog and was nice enough to come over to introduce herself. Being that I knew almost no one very well at that point, I jumped on the chance to make a new friend....especially with someone as kind and great as Rhonda! :) Rhonda took the initiative to connect me with some of her own friends, she brought me along to her M.O.P.s group, she had the kids and I over for lunch, and we have met up for several play dates. I just love spending time with her...she is one of the kindest, funniest, and most thoughtful people you will ever meet. Even her sweet husband has stepped in while Brady is gone to help us take care of our lawn. I have been so grateful for the new relationship with the Huffman family. They are such a wonderful blessing in our life!

  2. Jenny, I am a Grandmother that has prayed for the Sullivan family since I first found out about Sara. I continue to pray for your new family. It does my heart so much good to see all the HAPPY smiles on everyone's face! I am so thankful for your sweet new friend....that makes all the difference in the world!
FYI.....please take this comment in love. My husband is a dentist and would not let our children suck on lemons because it will eat the enamel off of the teeth.
    Blessings to all of you!

  5. I too stumbled upon Brady's blog when Sara was so sick, and unfortunately died. I kept his blog on 'my favorites' and was so happy to see where he met you!! I should back up and tell you, the first time I went to his blog, I read the entire words and was bawling my eyes out. Here is a father trying to take care of this newborn.,,,,, Ok,, back to it,,,, I kept him on my favorites, and saw where he met you!! Then I must say there was a 'lull' in your blogging, and today was cleaning up my favorite blogs, and was so happy to see you are back at it. I am an expat living in Tokyo, wife of 1 (41 years), mother of 3, grandmother of 5 (soon to be 6) ---your parents have to be so proud of you. I just want you to know you are not alone in this journey of life!! Your family is an inspiration to all.
Please continue your blogging, and all the best to you and your family during this 5 month deployment. God sure has worked his magic with the two of you!!! BEST OF LUCK!!!
    Sass!!!!
